Catholics Founders of the country
Dear friends, I am attaching
the full speech, which is worth reading, a major speech on 150 years of Cardinal Bagnasco Italian political unity. Clarify, first, the distinction between people, nation and state. (In blue the decisive part.)
Thank you and good day! I keep you always in my prayers.

X Cultural Forum Project
CATHOLICS "founding members" of the country
Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco
I am pleased to take part in the Cultural Project X Forum of the Italian Church, now in its tenth edition. Since 1997 it has produced a large reflection nodes examined cultural and challenges emerging in our country, trying each time to propose an original reading from the Christian faith.
My heartfelt greetings and gratitude to each one of you, first of all the national committee for the cultural project and HE Cardinal Camillo Ruini, who is a passionate President.
The theme of this Forum - "Over 150 years of Italian unity. Tradition and design "- is an invitation to make this important anniversary, a circumstance not rhetoric, but an opportunity for a peaceful re-thinking of our national story, so as to find in it a shared memory and a future perspective can give rise to a" Falling in love again Being Italian, in a Europe united and wisely in a world of a balanced global "(Keynote Address to the General Assembly of the CEI, May 24, 2010). The occasion sees the United Church to the whole country in celebrating the founding event of the unified state, and already this finding is sufficient to measure the distance that separates us from the "breach of Porta Pia, the importance of the common path and the path partiality of certain readings that emphasize opposition now remote.
The contribution of the Catholic unity of the country is - the rest - well known and is not limited to the pre-unification, but also extends to the next stage of its development, as recently been authoritatively stated by the President of the Republic, in a telegram sent to me last May 3: "Even after the formation of the unified state the whole Catholic world, albeit not without difficult moments of friction and confrontation, was the protagonist of importance of public life, to profoundly influence the formation and approval of the republican constitution "(G. Napolitano). I would like to reread the contribution of Catholics who, rightly, feel 'founders' of this country, given the challenges that we face, to allow everyone to feel part of a "we" could at any time exceed interest particolaristici, e di sprigionare energie insospettate e slanci di generosità.
1. L’Italia “prima” dell’Italia
Just in relation to S. Francis, irradiation of his presence, but one that is beginning to have substance and for centuries will remain only a geographical expression, but a living corposissima cultural identity, spiritual and above all religious. In addition to S. Francis are innumerable shapes - even women, such as S. Catherine of Siena - to make a decisive contribution to the growing religious and even economic and social development of our Peninsula. From here we get the realization that the only feeling that coupled the Italians, and they belonged to any social class in any of the pre-unification states they lived, was the religious and Catholic. To say that Italy is not home means naively remark birthright, but only to take the secret deep attraction between the identity of a people and what would become its historical form unit to another, not without serious disturbances of consciousness and for a long time, unresolved institutional conflicts. E 'enough to mention here that at the bottom of these events there was also the main concern of the Church to give full freedom and independence of the Pope, necessary for the exercise of his supreme apostolic ministry, and in general to avoid a "taxable "State of the Church.
The anniversary which we are preparing to celebrate, then, is relevant not so much “perché l’Italia sia un’invenzione di quel momento, ossia del 1861, ma perché in quel momento, per una serie di combinazioni, veniva a compiersi anche politicamente una nazione che da un punto di vista geografico, linguistico, religioso, culturale e artistico era già da secoli in cammino” (cfr. Prolusione all’Assemblea generale della CEI, 24 maggio 2010). And this is his spine. But if the soul is imperishable, then it becomes fragile unity of the people, and the State is weakened and disfigured. When this can happen? When the dark consciousness of common values, their cultural identity. Talk about cultural identity does not mean fold or withdrawn, but it is not disfigure their faces: it is not faceless people meet, you can not know, appreciate, for correction, to walk together, to work towards the same goals , to be "people". The state can not create this unity which is pre-institutional, pre-political, but at the same time has to be careful and protect and not damage it.
Assets are a common feeling that inspires widespread that identifies not excluding, which recognize approaching, urges the friendly sense of belonging and generous participation in the ecclesial community, the life of the village and the country, cities and regions of the state. Is it not true that the more the man turns back on itself, egocentric or scary, especially the social fabric crumbles, and each tends to become estranged from public affairs, the state feels far? But - in reverse image - it is also true that the more the State becomes self-referential, closed in the building, the more likely to find empty and alone, a stranger to his people. This is a circularity to never lose sight, smell from deep in his movements not to chase the populist inclinations of the moment and so useless, why did not weaken the underlying unity that is not doing the same things, but is a common feeling about the most important things of life and death. E 'to this grass-roots level - we could say, not ideological but ontological - that is created, resistant and grows as the soul of a nation state dynamics.
I would, for example, call softly as the Christian communities of all ages express themselves in diverse social, religious initiatives, cultural, charitable and training in different fields. And so remember with gratitude the extensive network of cooperative associations and aggregations in both religious and secular. Faith certainly can never be reduced to a "civil religion", but its fallout is undeniable in his personal life and public life.
Religion however is not set in civil society only for its welfare activities - horizontally - but just as a religion, vertically. The universal experience, in fact, first documented that openness to transcendence is neither superstructure nor purely individual and private matter, and on the other to certify that the approach to the mystery of God gives rise to cultura e civiltà. A nessuno sfugge come la visione dell’uomo e della vita assuma, nella luce della fede cattolica, prospettive e criteri che creano uno specifico ethos del vivere: il Vangelo invita l’uomo a guardare al Cielo per poter meglio guardare the earth, invites you to turn to God to find that others are not only similar but also of the brothers, remember that the bread is necessary, but that does not live by bread alone man. Finally, the dignity of the person, that today the international charters recognize as a given that the above positive law, finds its unconditioned only in transcendence, that is beyond the individual and human authority. E 'reference this creator and organizer that generates, establishes and guarantees the value of man and his moral action. And it is the respect and promotion of the dignity that is the core dynamic and orientation of the "common good", the aim of every true state. And the definition theoretical and the practical implementation of the common good, the contribution of Catholics was certainly not modest.
Com 'is known, the Second Vatican Council defines the common good as "the sum total of social conditions that enable groups and as individuals, to reach their fulfillment more fully and more easily" (Gaudium et Spes, 26). But what is the perfection of the different subjects, which are perfectly ordered conditions of social life? It is' the right to live "both to citizens and their representatives. E 'communion in good living, that is, righteously. Benedict XVI was explicit in this regard: "The development will never be fully guaranteed by forces somewhat automatic and impersonal ... The development is impossible without the upright, without financiers and politicians who live in their minds strongly the call of the common good . Are needed both for the professional and moral consistency "(CV, 71). Are no facilities as such nor the mere procedural laws to ensure ipso facto "right living", but the lives of righteous people who wish to be shaped by justice: justice already S. Thomas (S. Th, II-II, q. 58, aa.5-6) \u200b\u200bdescribed a "general virtue" in since it targets the social attitude of the person, which can not be limited by his needs and his particular needs, but is called to assume responsibility for the whole.
In concern for the common good is part of the commitment to national unity, which remains a valuable asset and an essential anchor. In this undertaking, as emphasized by President Napolitano, "no shadow weighs unit of Italy that is the relations between secular and Catholic institutions between the State and republican institutions of the Catholic Church, rather venendone comfort and support." E 'in the fertile soil of "being together "that federalism is a truly joint implants: a good thing that being together is not the be next by selecting one or the other so concerned, but which is made of esteem and respect, sympathy, justice, care and active solidarity towards all, especially to those who are poorest, weakest and most defenseless. Beware of love in Christ, the great Samaritan of humanity, is a model, teacher and source. Contemplating the Crucified, anywhere, recalls the sense of generosity: the gift of his life, in fact, is the constant witness of the gift without pretension. When a company keeps the joy of help without widespread utilitarian calculations, then the state perceives itself in a non-commercial, open and build in a sign of solidarity and subsidiarity. From this base of humus, which is woven in the worlds vital relationships - family, work, leisure, fragility, citizenship - that comes the reality of church and lay volunteers who breathe in great condition and that every effort, and of active hope.
3. The Church teaches for the good of
of this way of thinking, next to the family - incomparable array of humanity - the whole of society is the result, a chair and gym.
"Educating the good life of the Gospel" is also part of the path of the Italian Church which continues its work in time which is always a fruitful intertwining of evangelization and culture. The Church teaches the rest always and inseparably to human and Christian values, and today represents, in the concrete of our cities and our towns, a reliable reference, especially for children and young people. These mainly the adult world has to offer as an example and a credible response, countering the "culture of nothingness" that is the prelude to a widespread 'sadness'. But we must not forget that culture is not an abstract entity, to some extent depends on each of us, individuals and groups. We can say that the culture we are: if the lifestyles, the overall guidelines, laws have a significant influence on the formation of young people - but also adults! - Whether good or bad, it is also true that if every person of goodwill could be the virtuous behavior, and it widens with positive networks that sustain and propose can improve the environment in general.
In this season of renewed commitment to education, fits well what I was allowed to trust as 'a dream', the kind you make with your eyes open.
I hope ... that the contribution of the Catholic community is welcomed by all with the same spirit of goodwill with which it is offered. There is no reason to fear an abuse of power against the freedom of the Church and its members, who also expects to grant them the freedom to not betray their conscience enlightened by the Gospel. This will be even easier if it never be forgotten that all parts of society must commit themselves to each other with respect, to achieve that true good of the community whose hearts and minds of the Italian people, fed by twenty centuries of culture steeped of Christianity, are well aware. GOODBYE YARA ... SEE YOU IN GOD
increases the hosts of Angels ...
Heaven is full of smiles ...
How sad here on earth! ... Oh Lord
parks ?!...
The murder cries in your presence ...
How much innocent blood! ...
Why?! ... Why
, invisible hand, have struck again?! ...
What goes on in your mind?! ...
What are you afraid?! ...
was innocent.
was a fresh flower bouquet.
had many dreams.
had such high hopes.
You have destroyed everything. You cut off his life
You crushed his dreams crushed his hopes
You
You broke my heart a mother and a father
Never ask forgiveness?!
Will you succeed?!
May the Lord have mercy on you ... I can not do ... I ask you this ... FORGIVENESS

A discovery in the group of Croda Rossa d'Ampezzo
guests at the Rifugio Biella during the celebrations for the hundred 'years of construction, on a morning in July 2007 we happened to get a new top. A top the sight of which is dictated, besides the viewer from the refuge to S, even in some postcards of Biella of the Austro-Hungarian era and the early 900's. The mountain has no name, but an advantage: the view it offers, where you can glimpse the valley and even more settlements in N d'Ampezzo. Even so hikers, not only Germans, who always go up mainly of numerous Braies, and stop at the shelter waiting to regain his strength and walking, climb the "roof". This is the unique and evocative oronimo that some wag has given the rounded dome of rocks and grass (not listed or shown on the maps I have consulted), that emerges from the plateau of Fosses proprio in faccia al rifugio, dal quale si sale in meno di mezz’ora e senza difficoltà.

Exodus 20
I am the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of slaves.
have no other gods before me.
You shall not make an idol or any likeness of what is in heaven above, or what is the earth beneath, nor of what is in the water under the earth.
you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I the Lord, am your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generations of those who hate me,
but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love me and keep my commandments.
shall not take in vain the name of the Lord thy God, the Lord will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.
Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy: six days
labor and do all your work,
but the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy.
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea and what is in them, but rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which gives you the Lord your God
not kill.
not commit adultery.
not steal.
not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor's house.
You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that belongs to your neighbor.

GOD FOR CONVENIENCE ....
the 7th Commandment: DO NOT STEAL
theft is not just about things, money, property, work. It may also relate to the thought, freedom, heart, faith, peace, love. So is stealing the honor to raise a man, a woman's dignity, the calm to a family member, a believer in the faith, the innocence of a child, paternity or maternity of a born, an elder in the hope , the wife of a husband, the love to a needy (Second Book of Samuel 11:2-4).
As Saint Paul said: "The love of money is the root of all evil" (First Epistle of Paul to Timothy 6:10). Wealth, when it is dishonest, always causes dissatisfaction in the soul and damages the body, because the money was spent poorly is always wrong. Who steals, in fact, is destined to spend to enjoy and not enjoy what you spend. It seems happy, but actually has the remorse in the soul and, like Judas, would like to get rid of that dirty money (Matthew 27.5).
not steal, do not cheat, do not deprive others of ...
When two widowers marry only with the ritual canon ... There is no shortage to the seventh commandment?!
For two widows opting only for the canonical marriage?
Do not lose your pension.
But this is not done fraud to the state?! For the State
the two are living together and will be exclusively ... One can not "decide" to each other in case of need ...
The Church does not accept the only civil marriage, because the state should only recognize the marriage canon?!
The two will always remain two widows living together ... This is not a lack of civil society to ?!... It is not a failure to morality?! ...
They are, as a practicing Catholic, a little confused .... Doing
note to a priest, these, he replied: "I am your idea" ....
But the commandments God wrote them ...
Obviously we have a God to convenience

The League against the UN and the EU
Libyan wave of refugees could soon arrive in Europe and in Italy. Precisely for this reason the UN has asked Italy today not to reject people fleeing the fighting. Melissa Fleming, spokeswoman for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), said that Italy is among the countries "most likely to receive an influx of people fleeing from Libya." But above all: "We saying, 'please do not reject it'. It's time to show the humanitarian spirit and generosity toward people who have suffered blunt force trauma. " Libya at the time there are about 8000 refugees registered by UNHCR, other than 3000 asylum seekers from Sudan, Iraq, Eritrea, Somalia, Chad and the Palestinian territories.

NO IMMIGRANTS.
I'm not a racist but I say NO to this immigration.

Cruising Spots In Portland
129 years ago, the first winter of the Crystal? A Fork
dolomite An episode of history that deserves to be deepened, not least because of the uncertainty in the exact timing, as the first winter ascent of Mount Cristallo. Attempted by St. Moritz Siorpaes Holzmann and already seven years after the conquest, in January 1872, but failed due to excessive snow, the climb was able to drive with Peter Dimai Deo Bortolo Alvera, it appeared and immediately disappeared from the history of Dolomites because it was not a climber, but the Imperial Royal Road Master (as Santo Siorpaes, but on the road to Passo Tre Croci). I wonder how Peter Bortel and saw the Ampezzo valley from the top of the crystal: its villages, fields and meadows covered with snow and surrounded by silence, a framework which crib unfortunately not told in writing and you can only imagine. That was the first winter ascent of a mountain in Ampezzo, repeating nine years later, December 10, 1891, from the same tone with his cousin Peter and Jeanne Immink Dutch client on the anchor more difficult, although much lower Croda da Lago .

Margaret Walker Lineage
Maraia
In 1996, the first time we went in winter Fork Maraia, the City of Refuge Carpi was closed. 15 years ago, the shelters and pastures in the district that offered hospitality during the cold season were few, and Maraia was the realm of touring, we found that in fact in front of the shelter regularly swept by the wind. Some time later, with the changing fashions and the extension to various structures of the prospect of developing tourism in winter to ski, the shelter opened, and since then we have returned on numerous occasions, five in the last three years. Using the lift that goes up to Col de Varda, you have to walk for several kilometers, but access to the refuge is almost all in slight slope. The result is a commitment on the trip, and a hilly landscape of Popena reduced, and part of Marmarole Cadini Misurina very interesting. This is why every year we dedicate a Sunday to Carpi (among other things, the move is just a short drive). A few years ago, had tried to beat down the road from the refuge for Val d'Onge up in Val Marzon, obtaining a long toboggan run initially sought. In 2009/10, however, the road was threatened by an avalanche, reflect on doing not to encourage the risk that can hide even in a simple alpine road. The Carpi, then, is a destination for a winter tour of the most comfortable of the district: of course you can "spice" up and down from the steep Misurina beaten path (used but, unfortunately, from skiing and sledding. ..) that leads to Col de Varda. In so doing, it adds an hour to climb down and something less, the great military road that cuts through the scree of Pogofa. Depends on the day: it is certain that come and go in Misurina walk from the hiking trip something stronger, but is by no means mandatory.

A refuge
As is often the case with the news, I have plenty of the popular name of the Refuge, so the visits of friends dall'Ampezzano are already common. I therefore like the opening of this shelter, which will certainly not be the basis for the legendary climbs and great routes, but it is a good meeting point for lovers of mountains, good food, and why not, an example of tourism promotion if and where possible, to imitate.

Holy hermit, Peter or John? A case-history of 1893 Alpine
or |
Dimai Peter, John and Antonio Cesare Siorpaes Dimai - Hospitable, 1895 |
In " Wanderungen in den Dolomiten ", a work of Baron Th von Wundt translated into " d'Ampezzo in the Dolomites," and published a few years ago by the Cooperative of Cortina, in the chapter on Rauhkofel appears the image of a precipice from which to abseil down a mountain climber. At bottom right, another climber it is observed. I believe that photography, taken in 1893, is at the center of inaccuracy, handed down from many sources. In some publications, whose authors probably did not read or misinterpreted the original German, the mountaineer on the right is in fact quite rightly acknowledged in the guide Mansueto Zuprian Barbaria (1850-1932). What I would rather go down the rope Holy Siorpaes Salvador (1832-1900), forerunner of the discovery of the Dolomites, active between the 60s and 80s of the nineteenth century. Wundt, however, never speaks of the Holy, but the "Santobuono. In my opinion, "Bua", name of a family now extinct Ampezzo, Tyrol is the corruption of German "Bebo" "boy, kid." The crossing of Rauhkofel (less than the top group of Crystal, up officially for the first time in the driving Michele Wenzel Eckerth Innerkofler on 2/7/1883 and then fortified and fought during the First World War), has certainly seen many repeaters , even though they are in a suggestive context. Eckerth had suggested in the book "The Group of Mount Cristallo" (1891): shortly afterwards, Wundt took up the challenge and completed it successfully, but one of the two companions of adventure was perhaps not the one who, misunderstanding the dialect Tyrol, has long believed.

The Song In The Aj's Fine Foods Commercial
Face to face with the grouse on the mountain
Once delivered, however, we found the room crowded as never before, for lunch, should have been the arm of ticket (!) And wait for your turn to guess an hour was not enough. Fast and almost immediate about-face consultation; unconvinced tasting at the restaurant on Lago di Landro, also packed on the day tasteless and sad homecoming, however, where we refresh yourself with a nice risotto. Before getting into the car, in the garden facing the house Zangiacomi, a few meters from the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Defense, along with some curious people we could admire and photograph a grouse, which now appears as the initial image this blog. With all that I've been around the mountains in more than forty years, was only the third time that I was face to face with a grouse, among other things without fear. It is uncommon today to see these birds, and it seems that this "common" for some time the valley, especially in Crignes a house, where he finds something to eat. What surprised to meet him in the center of Cortina, in broad daylight, in through traffic, in this winter does not know that winter: quirks of nature!

lowest in Italy
I think I have climbed in the summer of 2009, the highest mountain lowest in Italy. I'm not sure because I do not know whether there is a ranking of the Italic mountain elevations, but the 116 meters on the level of the Adriatic which stands the Hermit Hill are definitely a nice record. Obviously this is not a real mountain, but only the highest point of the island of San Domino, the most popular of the small archipelago of Tremiti, facing the Gargano promontory. From the flock of houses in the village San Domino, Town Hall, it takes about three quarters of an hour's walk to reach the summit of the hill, first for a paved road and little traffic that flows through the pine forest of San Domino, and then to a dirt road, that we are stuck with being decorated of lamps up top. The elevation of the hill, flat, low and covered with Mediterranean vegetation, home to the miserable remains of the alleged Chapel of the Hermit, the only wreck the historic island, and opens an excellent view of the surrounding islands and the far coast of Puglia. I remember we went up the hill because there satisfaction in the late afternoon of the second day of stay in San Domino (you know that we always seek the mountains in the sea ...), and the feeling of being on top of the lower boot was alienating for us.

Mold On Inside Walls Of Plastic Outdoor Toys
Peaks in memory of missing characters

The world's most beautiful tower of
In crossing the Campanile |
In my little carnet d'mountain climber is missing the "most beautiful tower of the World" , that of Val Montanaia. It happened thirty years ago, on 11 September 1981. Starting with the 127 Henry Bordeaux the day before from London, where he studied, having ham sandwiches and a bottle of orange juice, we stopped at the end of Cimoliana Valley, not far from the Rifugio Pordenone. Our finances do not allow us to stay in the refuge, and so we just pay a visit in the evening for a beer with friends. In a quiet corner dined only two climbers, who presented themselves as Vincenzo Altamura, MD Milan, and Stanislav Gilić River, Explorers of the Dolomites Oltrepiave that had opened only three days before a big way on Croda Cimoliana. 127 In sleep tight and ill, and harassed for most of the night by the croaking of frogs and toads in a pond near: so, at five o'clock we were already on their way along the valley leading up to the Campanile. The ascent took place regularly, for a length (the two hardest captain Henry!) And without particular emotions, apart from the flight My giaccavento the second length to the base, I had to return alone to go back a long way before unhooking from an outcrop. I remember the crossing not very difficult: I found instead a very slippery slot Cozzi, consumed by steps of 80 years, and uncomfortable Glanvell the fireplace, where I had to hoist the bag with arms. At the top we found a bag of bread with the signing of Mauro Corona, who came a few days before - I think for the 82 nd time - but not the bell, brought up there by climbing the Veneto in 1926 and that any "bold" would resound . Just that summer was in Pordenone, waiting to be repaired! The historic cliffs dropping into the void of N amused us much: in the early afternoon we were in Cortina, ready to delight your friends with the story of the ascension to one of the most famous peaks of the Dolomites and dream, "climbing" must "for our youth.

Alpe Nemes, views from UNESCO
With historical Klammbachalm, and the more recent Coltrondo Rinfreddo Refuge (the latter two buildings moved to the side comelicese), the Alm Alpe Nemes completes the circuit of hiking huts Sixth, in the Step Montecroce Comelico. Popular summer and winter for the simplicity of access and the vast panoramas, hut Nemes rises 1880 m on the pasture of the same name, mentioned in the Middle Ages, at the foot of the various summit which begins with the Cresta Carnica. To get there, and the times are different solutions: 2 hours from Moos, 1 hour from Montecroce abundant, something less of a strong Sixth Mitterberg above, or a good half hour crossing from Coltrondo Hut. It is in this latter sense that, until the day before yesterday, in the last ten years we have gone to Nemes winter, maybe for the classic "nightcap". Last Sunday, however, after all, we wanted to go directly to the hut from the Pass, along the forest road crowded with pedestrians, skiers, "ciaspatori" e cani.

A hundred years after the birth of mountain guide Dibona Ignatius (1911-1942)
Il 29/1/1942, overwhelmed by a mass of snow at Camp Scindarella, lost his life at thirty Ignatius Dibona, mountain guide and ski in Cortina.
rescued three students hit by an avalanche, had undertaken to rescue three other skiers submerged before him, but with whom died tragically.
Born on 21/11/1911 in Cortina, was the eldest son of Angelo "Pilate", the symbol of the guides of Cortina. Ignatius played an honorable family tradition, that after him was carried on by brothers Dino and Fausto and his grandson Ivan, talented guides.
A vent'anni, con Giovanni Barbaria “Zuchin” fu promosso guida alpina, coronando così il sogno della sua vita and starting a profession short but rewarding, in which he starred in numerous major climbs.
During his military service in the 7th Alpini Belluno, he distinguished himself leading his comrades on all crossings and climbing in the Dolomites.
Among his first, but not abundant skilled stand the "Center" on the wall S of Punta Fiames (1933, with Dima and Degasper), defined as "extraordinarily difficult, senior V", the corner of SE Croda Marcora (1933, with Apollonius and Barbara), the edge of the post N Siroka Pec (1935, with her father, Anna and Lipovec Escher, a passage di VI); la “Diretta Dibona” sulla Testa del Bartoldo (1937, col fratello Fausto ed Hermione Blandy).
With Archangel Dandrea and Renato Zardini, Dibona in 1932 he completed the 4th ascent of the "slot template", opened a month on the same tower and he did with Alfonso Tanner for the 9 th repetition.
summer of 1940 he tied the rope with his father to repeat two-way open to him with Luigi Rizzi and Mayer thirty years ago: the edge of the Great Oedstein N and N wall of the Cima Una - Einserkofel: neither should be left out the many rescue operations, for which he served Dibona is always with generosity and courage.
called to direct the school slopes of Campo Imperatore, with his strong character and friendly earned the esteem and affection of all customers. As soon as the accident happened, the brothers went down to Campo Imperatore, where they could "gather people from the mountains of Fascist Italy where they fell Ignatius, the unanimous expressions of mourning and general admiration" and brought " parents and the bride anguished solidarity in a world alien to them, but who joins them, to comfort them. "
In Cortina, the news of the death of one of the youngest and most talented local guides spread quickly: the "News Cortina on 30 January, the President of the Chamber of CAI Bepi Degregorio wrote a heartfelt obituary also reflected in the No 8-9 (June-July) of the magazine "The Alps".
Degregorio, according to the rhetoric of the time, concluded: "Ignatius Dibona you're not dead. Your figure of an athlete is fixed in the blue at the top of the wall of the hard life. You sure our rope in pure iron and snap it commands: forward. "
the funeral, celebrated on February 6 with the participation of the whole country, the body of Ignatius Dibona was transported back to the guides, accompanied by teachers Ski and followed by major local and provincial authorities, with representatives of the ANA, CAI and the pupils of Cortina.
impossible to do this in person, the family spoke publicly to thank the authorities L'Aquila, Cortina and Belluno, in CAI, guides, ski instructors and the participants in the mourning, which marked indelibly especially the father Angelo.
Today, as well as in his ways, some of which also forgotten, is remembered by Ignazio Dibona headstone in the cemetery commemorates Cortina guides and porters disappeared since 1886.
