Saturday, January 10, at 14-day spectacular, what to do?
Robert and Max decide to hike in the snow with snowshoes.
Given the short time available, we aim at Rolla for three reasons: the snow is very beautiful, it's sunny and 16 at least until we reach the point of departure in less than 20 minutes.

Ok: that the tour begin!
The point of arrival with the car is exactly the same starting with ski mountaineering, snowshoeing or sledding or just bob. So the car parked in the clearing of the small village of Sondrio, on Mount Rolla, "Ligar" or "Ligh" for Padani :-).
To reach it is easy departure from the capital, climbs to the village of triangle and then continue for about 3.5 miles, paved road, passing by the area of \u200b\u200bthe pond. E 'can also arrive at the side of Castione.
Ligari is easily recognizable for his church (1731) and bend to the left of the fountain on the right , ma noi abbiamo riconosciuto la frazione soprattutto perché terminava la strada pulita e asfaltata, dovendo così scendere faticosamente dall'auto per affrontare a piedi la parte innevata. :-)
Ideale come prima uscita.

Altro “piccolo particolare” della risalita sono le decine e decine di piante a largo fusto cadute sulla strada a causa del peso della neve. La visione è fantastica: da una strada normally passable in both directions seems to cross the path of a forest in a high mountain pasture.
continue the ascent to the bend of the "meadows Rolla low" just after the gate that leads to the "Chalet Mossinelli" that coffee lovers surely remember ... hehehehe ...
Here the view is spectacular with a panorama that starts from the head of Valmalenco dall'alpeggio passing of the flesh, with a glance to lace Three Mogge, Entova, Val Togno the background of the lace and then again the Ladder Corna Mara. But it does not end here because our right here is the full picture of Orobie, clearly visible from the east to the west.

Continuing the walk from our staging point we can reach the resort Forcola (1518 meters), but given the time and having to return to walking more miles we decided to turn back to the field basis, postponing the walk to the next. This time, however, the target will be the cross of Rolla!
When you go out with snowshoes, Robert and has tried on his legs, you should always put into account the way back. Skiing and sledding, in fact, allow a rapid descent while snowshoeing is good to measure the forces and keep a good stock for the descent. Together, however, joking, walking and having fun, time passes quickly, and also the effort seems to have diminished. A tour
recommended to everyone, including families.
The next day, in fact, we're back on site armed with bob with children in tow! (Roby - Max)
