Fiames Before winter, thirty years ago

does not appear, but it was winter! Henry and I on "seems", 23/1/83
I left to spend a few year or so, dedicating myself to something else. Easter Monday 1980 resumed the path of Fiames with Henry: it took a lot to tame the street, in a gray and cold day: the satisfaction was always great, but then I went up only by the second. On 8 / 3 / 1981, just thirty years ago, was the fourth ascent, the first winter, was with us Andrea, Feltre strong climber who died some years later in a motorcycle accident. In August, the fifth, which I did from the first to gain experience and by necessity, as my companion did not feel like doing it. In the climbs that I could achieve on the road, there was also space for another winter in summer conditions, less than two hours in a "canned" in a sweet company, one ended in a minor accident, a winter with an adjacent small "cioce" at the top. For completeness, I must mention the last, half-up: we were three and so slow that climbed on the ledge below (taken from arcane concerns) suggested that we go home we did not want to leave at eight in the evening. Return along the new berths, was fast and fun, but a bit 'sad. Since then I have not touched the rocks of the "like", which I run at least once a year for two decades exact and on which I must say that I always enjoyed.
